Aspen Ski Holiday Resort

Overview
Don’t be put off by the resorts image as a haven for the rich and famous, this resort is full of people like you and me enjoyng what is one of the USA’s top resort. There is skiing and boarding to suit all levels with the huge 170m Winter X games half pipe and 2mile long terrain park a “must” visit even if you just watch. The Aspen Highlands area offers some very very steep double black diamond runs. Aspen mountain is a great intermediate area but it also has some steep parts as well. Buttermilk is the mountain for beginners with beautifully groomed gentle quiet runs.
Positive
- Very little queuing
- Good nightlife
- Good restaurants
Negative
- Split over 4 different mountains
- Can be expensive
Offslope/apres ski
Loads to do for the non skier, just sitting with a coffee doing a bit of star spotting is great fun. Evening entertainment goes from the sophisticated to some of the great value small bars.
Our view
