Davos Ski Holiday Resort

Overview
Definitely not the prettiest resort in the Alps but it does offer a great variety of intermediate and expert terrain. The resort has become well known is the last few years as the destination of the World Economic Forum and many other high powered conferences consequently at certain times of year it is nearly impossible to get a hotel room in the resort.
Positive
- Great intermediate ski area
- Experts well catered for on and off piste
- Non skiers resort facilities excellent
- Good resturants
Negative
- Not an attractive town
- Quite a lot of T-Bars
- Slopes are spread out
Offslope/apres ski
A really big town feel to Davos means that the off the slope activities and plentiful, golf driving range, ice rinks indoor and outdoor with ice hockey matches and speed skating worth watching. As expected in a large town of this size the après ski is plentiful with many bars, clubs and even a casino.
Our view
Big town atmosphere, extensive slopes with a good snow record.
